Fuel Pump Hat O-Ring
I like to file down the tabs on the hat where it first comes into contact with the tank tabs,put equal pressure all the way around the hat & give a little tap to top tab on the hat! Easy peasy!!- Jim Draker

Filling gas tank makes car run smoother?
I'm having similar problems under 1/4 tank was cutting out & putting it in neutral & restart would fix for a few minutes, fuel gage dropping to E, & now has a permanent misfire & throwing about 8 codes! About ready to take a sledge hammer to it!- Jim Draker
