made some jumpers to create new coil inputs for the PCM relay. Ground from a blank for convertible top (relay #41) and pippybacked the 12v Key On from Fuel pump relay (relay #21).
Car is running good now with no codes.
Will look for replacement PCM and Fuse Box at junkyard but not willing to...
Disassembling Fuse box in the engine bay. You can see on the gray plug there is some trouble. Trying to find breakdown of box to find my grounding issue. Gray plug is not the connector B for PCM.
Too confusing, put back together. Car is again running w/jumper but no ground on PCM Relay.
Update. With jumper I the car still cranks but no fuel. No ground present at relay for pin85. Im guessing when I was checking out the wiring harness for bad spots I broke the ground for the PCM?
11.3V when measuring with test light from Batt+ to Pin85 of PCM Relay (D5)
I have ground jumpers from batt- to block and body. No change in voltage reading.
With the jumper installed, there are no codes.
Without jumper, unable to communicate with PCM but cluster shows the low fuel level, dte odo data err, check charging system errors.
Vgate vLinker FS OBD2 USB Adapter for FORScan HS/MS-CAN Auto Switch ordered. Thanks for the tip.
This is above my paygrade....How do you read PCM RC to PIN85 of Relay? I assume this is a ground. But what meaning does C175B / 37 & C1035B / E4 have? And what does PCM "RC" mean?
PCM Relay #20 in the engine bay. Does not energize, swapped with other relay but no change. Jumped power from pin87 to pin30 and everything now works. Now I got to find out what my issue with coil inputs. PATS have something to do with this? More to come.
Having exact same issue. Daughters car. She hit a deer and trashed the front clip. Just got back from the body shop and nothin. No crank, no fuel pump priming, no communication with my OBD2 scanner. Bad PCM? Does/Can the SRS lock anything out? Fuel pump inertia switch receives 12v or ground...
