    V6 t5 Shifter

MGW in Atlanta Ga. You won't be disappointed. If you lived closer I'd let you take mine for test drive.

    Convertible top up/down switch

I also found new OEM Ford rocker switches at CJ Pony. It's good to have choices. We're just changing the switch not the whole unit.

    Convertible top up/down switch

Wow! Thanks, eBokey. There's a bunch of them out there. And they're NOT $323!

    Convertible top up/down switch

The rocker switch on my '05 'vert has always been a little sticky in the four years I've owned the car. Running the top down usually is pretty smooth, but when it's time to put it up the switch sometimes needs to be played with to get it to work. By that, I mean I have to push the switch in...

Best parts for t5 trans rebuild

From the owners manual. There is a lockout function. Trouble getting into reverse is built right in to these babies!!! But, what do I know?

Best parts for t5 trans rebuild

The problem getting into reverse is a built-in safety feature that Ford thought was necessary so morons couldn't shift into reverse at 75 mph. It's explained in the owners manual which I think you can find on line. As often as it happens it isn't a sign of a failing tranny.

18" polished wheels with the white lines all over in the clear coat, any quick fix?

I had similar damage on some Chevy truck (2000) wheels and had them powder coated white. They looked great on the white RCSB truck. Only problem I'd see now is that coating would cost damn near the price of some of the lower priced new wheels at Tire Rack, etc. Good luck.

Trouble Shifting In and Out of Reverse with a Hurst Short Throw Shifter.

I have a MGW in my '05 and have the same issue. If you have the owners manual, look in the chapter on how to shift the 5 SPD. On page 162. I couldn't believe it either, until I tried it. I often have to sit there and wiggle the shifter back and for in neutral and partially release the clutch...

    Hagerty Insurance?

I just bought my Hagerty policy. Some of the liabilities are lower than what I had, not that big a deal. It's costing me about $170/yr more, but instead of having a value (KBB) of maybe $7500, I've got an agreed value of $18,000. In NY a vehicle is considered a 'total' if damages are 75% of...

    Hagerty Insurance?

Thanks, RNR. A friend of mine writes Hagerty policies and I think I'm going there. It's a little pricey, but I like the coverage I'm getting.

    Hagerty Insurance?

Simple enough. Does anybody have Hagerty on their ride? More importantly, has anyone actually made a claim through them and how did that go? I've got a quote to switch from my basic policy and I'm really leaning towards doing it.

    Sway bars?

FWIW. I tried several emails, phones calls, call-back messages and never heard a word from Hotchkis. Went with Eibach.

    Sway bars?

Thanks, Dieharder. My car is an '05 former garage queen (33K). I just want to tighten things up a bit without going broke. I was leaning toward Eibach til I saw these.
