very interesting thread! I have a Bullitt, stock suspension. I come from a VW/BMW background. Love the ride and handling of euro cars, and the mustang stock just seems horrible. Seems to ride very rough, not sure what cause that? Soft springs and way soft struts/shocks? I like that sort of...- mykvr6

Brandmotion adapter problems
yeah not sure about the sound problems, I think cutting the volume on all the songs would have made it liveable, but I ended up just replacing it because of what you mentioned. Navigating songs was a huge pain. -

update 2: Got a replacement unit shipped and tried it out. Works pretty much the same. I tried lowering the volume on a couple of tracks in I-tunes and trying that. Seems to sound better that way. So I figured I could make adjustments and get it sounding better but I also realized I hate... -

Need headunit advice: want simplicity for a 2008
I just put a headunit in my 08 Bullitt and here's a couple things from my install. My 2008 Bullitt had a can bus controlled headunit. Meaning the illumination and ignition are controlled via can bus. What does that mean? Well it means there is no 12v illumination wire and no ignition lead in... -

slammed with 10+ wide on front, post your pics!
interested in seeing more as wel, I've been going through the 10" square post over and over in anticipation on getting wheels for the Bullitt. I like a wide rear wheel, but the fronts on most "safe" staggered setups look small to me. Definitely want 10 square at the very least.- mykvr6

Brandmotion adapter problems
update: talked with brandmotion and tried a few things they suggested but sound quality still sucks. I'm not sure why, and they aren't sure either. Everyone else who has posted about this adapter has good things to say, its works perfectly, etc. But for some reason mine just isn't cutting... -

Had the Bullitt detailed real fast today!
you know I loved the old fox bodies, especially the coupes. Hated the interiors though. I thought the 03 Cobras were niced but I hate the interiors on those cars as well. The s197 really stepped it up a notch and the 10+ cars are even better. I really wanted a new 5.0 but I've always like...- mykvr6

ahh I see. the overlays on my car look pretty good, tint isn't too dark, just enough to give it a smoked look. the overlay on the third brake light is darker and not even looking, looked sort of "splotchy" like a bad nite shade job so I peeled it off today and will probably buy a new set of...- mykvr6
