My Mustang is Certified High Mileage.

According to oil producers. 75,000 miles qualifies as high mileage. My Mustang just rolled 75,000 miles. So. I guess it is high mileage.

    Who was the Genius?

Well, yeah. Door is open all the way .I am 69 years old. But. I ain't stupid. Both knees have been replaced. I try to not scrape the speaker covers. But. Sometimes I do not make it. Just was wondering why speakers could not have been engineered to not stick out from door panel. Lack of space in...

    Who was the Genius?

I just would like to know. The master mind behind the idea of the speakers in the door of my 2008 Mustang. He must have been a freaking hobbit. 4 foot tall. Just so I could kick his ass. They stick out a inch past the door panel. I am 6'2'' tall. If I do not push my seat all the way back and...

    Gauges Won't Hold Calibration.

Juice. Thank you. I should have reinstalled cluster. Turn on ignition then put needles on. Like a ignorant dumbass I didn't do that. With no guidance until you. I just kept starting and turning off car. Every time needles moved further to the left. Then it snapped to me. Remove needles turn on...

    Gauges Won't Hold Calibration.

This is kind of same subject as my previous thread about speedo not working. But. Different. Hope it is alright to start a new thread. I did a search. Could not find any thing pertaining to my specific problem. I replaced the motor on the speedo as all others were working fine. I reinstalled the...

    Speedometer Malfunction.

Well. Just got around to ordering a group of 7 steppers off ebay and a soldering iron kit with the sucker from Amazon small enough to do the job. My iron is too big. Now. All I need is some motivation. Too many projects. Plus its hot as hell here in Texas.

    Speedometer Malfunction.

Another question or two.. Is one brand recommended above the others? Most seem to be sold in 4's. Will they work on all six gauges. I mean are speedo and tach motor the same as oil, battery, heat, amp gauges. Pardon my ignorance. Thanks.

    Speedometer Malfunction.

Yup. All of you are correct. I went out of town right after my post. My friend has a muffler shop we put it up on the lift and replaced the speed sensor. Easiest to do. 50/50 crap shoot. I always crap out. No bueno. So. Need to do what DDB says. Replace them all with the x27 units. Thanks to all...

    Speedometer Malfunction.

Went to drive across town to post office. Noticed speedometer not working. Then it started working. But. Only registered 30 mph at 2000 rpm in 5th gear. Came out of post office and it started working normally. On the way home it quit a couple of times then would work again. Sometimes normal...

    Pits In Windshield?

My 2008 Mustang with 78,00 miles on it has spent it's whole life in East Texas. A relatively mild climate. I bought it from my late best friend's widow a year ago. The front wind shield looks like it has spent it's whole life in West Texas wind storms. Don't seem right?

    Wanting To Upgrade Suspension.

I know it has been a while. A lot of opinions have been expressed. My thoughts on the SR package I purchased. The only option that I have to compare to is the OEM that was on there. The SR package is definitely more of a firm ride. I won't say more stiff. Took a little getting used to. I can...

    Hard Water Spots.

I tried the vinegar and baking soda to no effect. Next up muriatic acid and distilled water. Razor blade scraper? Last resort.:(

    Hard Water Spots.

My bad. I should have been more detailed in what I was talking about. I should have learned by now. People see or read only a portion of a post. And Take it from there. GLASS. I am talking about GLASS. I never mentioned PAINT. I am going to use stkjock's method of baking soda and vinegar for...
