    2006 GT with Gen 1 Coyote Completed - a few ?'s

I stopped by PBH for a bit last week as we are running into a major Fuel control issue. I didn’t go into much regarding the gauge issues, but I did mention that we have the same Charging error message as well as a low fuel tank message. The fuel tank is topped off, and the charging system is...

Anyone running the Power by the hour 3v Coyote harness?

Swap update: The car, “Frankenstang”, is running, but it does have issues: 1. There seems to be a fuel power supply issue. We ran the PBH purple wire back to the fuel pump hat connector where we have a GT500 dual pump system installed. We were only seeing around 50psi with a major drop upon...

    Which refrigerant to use

If I’m tracking you used: Dryer from early S197 High pressure hose from early S197 Compressor from late S197 Condenser from late S197 And how was the low pressure hose configured/customized?

    Well, it finally happened...

There is a small amount of corrosion on a couple pins, but no visible damage on the board All fuses were verified as good, but no power to anything. We are checking every pin on the connectors to verify if power is making it from the battery to the SJB.

    Coyote swap A/C connection

We started with a 2006 V6 convertible with no engine or engine accessories and only one A/C line hanging. The 2013 Boss 302 has the compressor installed, but no A/C lines installed. Can anyone explain how to connect a Gen1 coyote compressor to a early S197 (2006 V6) A/C system?

    Radiator capacity/size for a swapped 2018 Gen3 5.0 into a 2005 V6 base model

We installed a larger aluminum radiator, but currently have the 2006 V6 fan installed. I read that the non-GT500 S197 fans are all the same, and would be interested in hearing more of a debate to include the GT500 fit and function. The ford stock drain plugs should be internally wrenched vs...

    Which refrigerant to use

How did you connect the two different systems. Do the line from the 2018 route & connect to the 2005 locations without issue?

Sending unit for 05-09 coyote swap issues arising

Still not running yet, but we opted to keep the 06 tank and installed a GT500 pump assembly. We have a 2013 boss fuel tank with pump assembly (should be same as 2011-2014) in Florida if anyone is interested.

Anyone running the Power by the hour 3v Coyote harness?

9 months later and we are back on the project. Clutch was sorted, and we’ll follow the brake wiring advice. Unfortunately now we have no power to anything - thinking it’s a corroded SJB, so we’re in search of a replacement. So close we can taste the carbon monoxide. Another item is A/C lines...

    Well, it finally happened...

Bump… just finished our coyote swap on a 2006 Convert. V6, and no electrical power. Thinking it’s the same issue with a water spoiled SJB after checking all fuses and seeing a hint of green on a pin. what’s the best way of verifying before jumping in $300 used?

    Will rims clear brakes

Thought I had already responded, but maybe I was sidetracked. Installing the S550 calipers on an S197 requires S197 GT500 rotors (S550 rotors will not work) and also require a shim/washer between the caliper and spindle to center the calipers over the rotors. This pushes the calipers outward...

    new k member....lower motor mounts?

Although both Lethal Performance and UPR are located in my county, they are horrible to work with. We drove to see both after Lethal Performance stated they had a shop we could come visit. It was a small sweat-shop style small office space with Walmart desks and clueless “kids”. They had minimal...
