Why would stuff blow off intake?

I had vacuum lines blowing off my 05 because my cats were plugged. Not sure if you are running these, worth a check if you are.

$100 to paint. $215 (no tax I'm out of state) for the lid and $38 to have the lid shipped ground from Tousley Ford MN to Niagara Falls NY. Put it on myself, took about an hour. Cracked the cover over the trunk lock and key cylinder, because the clips are impossible to get to, so I had to glue...

GT500 Motor in a 07 GT????

I had Livernois quote me for a built 4.6 stroked to 5.0 with a whippleHO. They said about $13,500 installed. However, they also said that unless I got a new clutch, tranny and driveshaft the existing stuff would just break. Total out the door for about 700hp at the rear wheels on 93 octane...
