FRPP 3V supercharger shortblock build
Heres my opinion...I would worry about damaging the gasket surface where the chain is hitting. @ least get some large rubber hose to keep the chain away from scratching your gasket surface. Its aluminum so it will get damaged easily with a steel chain. Rick- rhuckster

Heres my approach but don't do this very often, maybe @ the begiining of a show season. Wash with bucket of dawn detergent & water. Then I change the water & soap solution using dawn once again. Then I clay the car/truck using the dawn solution as the lube. Then wash car & rinse. Then apply a...- rhuckster
