Thats what Im thinking and telling them. They think its the exhaust blowing out the spark or telling it not to fire...I told them BS because if the computer told it not to fire it would not give a misfire on a cylinder that was not suppose to fire that time around. If it was exhaust causing...

I was told I have to put exhaust back to stock before they will look at it...So I will then SELL THE DAMN CAR! I am so done with this damn thing. They wont even look at the damn thing until then.

Called Ford Hotline, they agreed with me that the exhaust is not going to cause misfires. They also think the either the crank position sensor or the crankshaft sensor ring is damaged thats why I get #2 and #8 misfires cause its the same position on the ring and the sensor is not picking up that...

Ok Im not the only one with these issues. Im going to ask to have the Crank position sensor replaced and if that don't fix it, then PCM. Im also going to call the Ford hotline. I am tired of screwing with this damn car. http://www.modularfords.com/forums/f259/random-misfire-cylinder-2-a-168967/

Well damn that didnt work. She just came by work...#2 misfire. Pull plugs when I get home and swap them.

Thanks Chuck, I new they changed the firing order to the old flat head but can't ever remember if Bank 1 is left standing in front of car or in driver seat.

Took it down Monday, they did the usually "Exhaust, Emissions Codes, yada yada" But they said they did the TSB of the Neutral Misfire and Crank Position relearn...100 miles later..CEL...Misfire #2. I swapped coils last night on both sides cause I could remember which bank is which..(if someone...

No Chuck, just Kooks LTs, Kooks Catted X, stock cai and stock factory tune. Waiting till everything is fixed before putting the Steeda stuff and a tune. I haven't changed anything since getting it back from dealer. The car actually died on my wife today while waiting in a drive through 3 times...

Entrenched, The CEL only comes on but blinks when motor goes into limp mode. The wrenches never come up. The weird thing is that every time it has happen, you will be in the throttle then need to slow down and you let off the throttle completely and press in the clutch, then the CEL starts...
