I was going to put mine up for sale, but after seeing this car is not sold yet I'm not even going to waste my time. I can't sell mine this cheap, I guess I will just keep it. Good luck with your car.
I wish I could help, but I have no clearence issues with mine. Has the car ever been wrecked? How old is the whipple? Have you talked to Whipple and see if they have any ideas?
I am going to get the old ones powdercoated and resell them to gain back some of the money that I lost buying the ford racing ones. I was told buy the Powdercoat company that it would be 4-6 weeks until they can get to them and I didn't want to wait that long because the car show season will be...
I really don't have the time to get them PowderCoated, the shop here is very slow and I have a few shows coming up. I don't think I would be happy with a paint job out of a can that I would do. I want something that will look good and last a long time.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a place to buy the "Blue" ford racing Valve covers. I have searched around and the cheapest I have found is $259.00. Is this the standard price? Maybe someone know of some place cheaper? I am tired of the ugly valve covers on the 06. Thanks for your help.
I'm running the 3.5" pulley, ran the ford tune for about one year with no problems no pinging. The ford tune made made 472RWHP and was real fat (Way conservative).
I would lean towards an alignment issue, as mentioned earlier if the belt was slipping you would see belt dust. I have had no issues with my whipple, have you talked with anyone from whipple to get their input?
I got it tuned at SGS Automotive.
