    When mine did this I took my illuminated sill plate apart and made my own. I don't think you can buy just the illuminated part. I bought a sill plate for a 2015 and put both together.

    Those connectors are not standard nor is the small red wire coming out of the positive terminal. I would definitely fix the negative terminal also. What kind of electrical issues are you having?

    Why are you listening to an Ai bot is beyond me. I was going to suggest that you unplug the battery. Remove the Sjb and check for damaged pins. Such a little mess you created for yourself huh.
