    I had considered just ordering the shifter and having a local shop install it, but based off of your (and many other s197 members') experiences with MGW, I thought it would make a nice mini vacation to drive down there for a few days and shake George's hand. Everyone there I've communicated...

    Made an appointment to go visit MGW. There will be a Hurst shifter for sale come mid-October. (hopefully my post count will be enough to post it by then)

    Copied TGR96 and installed the AM billet upper and lower grilles with relocated fogs behind. Undecided whether I want to darken the shiny chromey bits on the emblem somehow or just leave it as-is.

    Yep, I actually retried the download after reading your advice about an hour before posting. Was hoping to have something to show for having to be at work on a Saturday. :frown: That's what I'm hoping.

    Tried the USB Sync update today. After OK'ing "Install Application" twice, sit for a few seconds, and I get "Installation Failed". Re-downloaded the update from Ford, reformatted the flash drive, extracted and copied the files to it and retried the installation. Same result -- "Installation...

    Wow I didn't realize it was THAT big of a gathering. I had figured maybe 100 on a good day. I was way way off. With that many in attendance, people don't get out of hand? I'm guessing it's a bit more mature/sensible group that gathers than the old DPA parking lots I last remember.
