Just buy a top grill and then make a cardboard template of the lower and then cut it to fit. I had to do this with my 2005 Foose Stallion to make a replacement glower grill.
You will be fine wiring both sets of fogs to work together. Just switch both seat of fogs out to from Halogen to LED to prevent to much power draw on the OEM harness. If you don't there is a good change your gonna melt the OEM wiring harness, relay, and junction box.
Even if you can change the VIN in ForScan when you order the map updates from Ford they will not sell you a update since the the Ford database shows the VIN did not come with the NAV from the OEM VIN. You should see the months of emails I have from Ford HQ about my SYNC 2 NAV to SYNC 3 NAV...
Replace the 2 amplifiers under the drivers side dash on the left hand side above the hood release. If the car was flooded these are NOT water proof and that is your issue. These have also been known to fail under normal circumstances and cause excessive battery draw in a key-off scenario.
Multiple SJB's (Smart Junction Boxes). Specifically from the same year and equipment packages. Yes these can be programed, but if you find the exact same one you can avoid that added cost and a trip to the dealership. Also switch the fan over to a GT500 fan it has more blades and new motor...
OK, So did you switch back to Shell and run 2 tanks of Shell through it and the temp go back down? If so then the next phase would be go back to Costco and run 2 tank of their fuel that caused the temp to rise and did it do back up? That's the TRUE way to confirm 100% it is a fuel related issue.
Go to a local Ford dealership and have them order a complete driveshaft for you. Just keep in mind a one piece aluminum driveshaft will weigh much less and it will save you on shipping costs.
Just a FYI, even if you get the stock NAV unit to work they are locked to the VIN of the doner car and will need to be re-programed by the dealer to your VIN to receive updates for the maps and the OS. But since your VIN does not have the NAV factory installed the dealer will tell you they can...
Verify your radiator fan is going into HIGH mode. If not, the connection point on the under side of the Fuse box harness plug under the hood is melting or a relay for high speed is dead. Then remove the radiator fan and spray water through the rad going in the opposite direction of airflow. You...
I'm almost finished restoring (just body kit paint left to do) a 2005 Mineral Gray V6 Mustang Convertible and building it to a V8 Foose Stallion. Two "must do's" are a GT-500 Radiator Fan, EPAS Steering Rack from a 2013 or 2014 Mustang.
Check the wires where they enter right at the back of the plug that attaches to the MAF sensor. Look closely if you see green or exposed copper you dealing with a wiring short issue or a broken wire due to corrosion. Simply de-pin the wires one at a time and heat shrink tube the wire and then...
If you use the radio at all make sure both (There is one for the drivers side and passenger side of the engine.) are connected and bolted to the block. Otherwise the noise you will hear coming out of your speakers will drive you INSANE!
