    Boost Leak around MAF.

Have you tried a new maf sensor? It's plastic, maybe there is a crack in it or it's leaking internally somewhere. If you tried rtv around it I would think the seal is good.

    Timing chain kit deal?

I tend to buy from CJ Pony Parts because I just go pick it up at their warehouse which is in my town. I got my last timing kit from them.

PMAS 120mm vs. Steeda 101mm on 2012 GT with 2018 intake.

And bigger is not necessarily better. A larger diameter intake may flow more air but one has to consider the reduced velocity as having a performance factor also.

    Need help finding photos

I had Gil at Shelby do the tuning for my whipple set up. I will look and see If I can find the pics that I took. I don't think I got much of the assembly line or anything. If I remember they're just from the dyno bay and maybe the showroom. Might have one or two of the little Mustang golf...

    Whipple 3v supercharger

I would say that 450 rwhp is a safe limit for stock rods though I ran closer to 500 for many years with my whipple. I have since backed the timing off and figure I'm around 465. With conservative timing I think were pretty safe up to 500 but it needs to be a spot on tune.

    Windsor swap

Wait when you say windsor block, what exactly do you mean? I was assuming a 4.6 Iron block.

    Whipple 3v supercharger

You know if you can't afford to go with an SC, why not go with some nitrous? My current build is going to be NA with a 200 or 250 shot. The cost of a new set up and tune is going to be les than half the price of going FI.

Have you tried to drive around with the TC off?

    Windsor swap

Are you going to bolt 3 valve heads on there? If so I would think any regular headers would fit.

    Whipple 3v supercharger

Why do you want a used one? There is no support for it. I don't think Whipple will even rebuild the 3 valve blowers.

PCV Valve Part Number??? 2008 GT

Not completely. Yes, gasoline will eventually evaporate out of motor oil, but it is a slow process that will not fully restore the oil's properties. Because gasoline and motor oil are both petroleum-based hydrocarbons, they are miscible—meaning they dissolve completely into each other. While...

PCV Valve Part Number??? 2008 GT

So let me try and clear this up as there seems to be some confusion. If you are going to keep your PCV system as a closed system, no breathers, you need to put the catch can on the side with the PCV valve. In a normal system closed system the engine opens the valve and draws crank case blowby...

Can't you just get a CARB approved intake? Or am I being too simple?

    Catch can for paxton sc?

You have to remove the valve cover. it is tucked behind a little baffle. I cut that and then peeled it back exposing the tube with the valve in it. Then cut the tube and remove the valve. Then I just kinda bent everything back and put it back on. If I remember, I have a set of covers in my...

Water Pump and engine parts advice

I don't think there is an option for a long or short water pump, but I wouldn't know as I run an electric pump and the pulley is just a dummy pulley to keep the belt routed properly.

    Catch can for paxton sc?

You should remove the pcv valve if you are going to go with breathers. If you don't it well never vent out of that side because it needs vacuum to open up. Now in most cases it wouldn't be an issue and the PS and oil cap would be sufficient. But with the added cylinder head pressure from the...

Just purchased 2006 GT with mods questions

Pacesetters use a slip-fit connection, not a ball and flange set up.

    Catch can for paxton sc?

If you add breathers and open up the system there is no need for a catch can because nothing will ever come out of the drivers side unless you remove the PCV valve itself.

05 Mustang gt driver side axle not going in far enough

I had to replace my driver's side axle and I got my C-clip out easy enough but when I went to put the new one on I had difficulty getting the C-clip back in. It took my boy to bang on the outside of the axle with a mallet as I maneuvered the clip in place. I did use a hammer and screwdriver to...

    SUSPENSION REBUILD

The upper diff bushing is easy peasy if you drop the rear end out of the car, literally 10x easier. Granted you don't have to remove the rear end to swap all those parts but its only a couple more steps and like 10 bolts at that point. You might as well. I had to pull mine to get some sway...

What have you done to your mustang today?

Bummer dude. Not that it matters now but I have used super glue at the end of cracks to keep them from growing before. Not sure if it really works or the cracks were done cracking but thought I would share.

Electrical issues with my 2006 mustang GT

The alternator seems fine??? You should go have it tested and make sure they test the diode. The symptoms you describe are often caused by the alternator going bad. The voltage might be correct but a bad diode can cause these issues. If you do replace it get one for a 2010. It's a different...
