    My passenger door will not stay closed.... help

    ok so one day my step dad gets out the passenger side and shuts the door..and it just wouldnt latch on the striker...The latch is just not functioning, I can move the latch manual, but it will just stay in the same spot as i left it, im thinking its a spring of some sort thats broke...
