where did you buy your Flaming River manual rack

The FR rack is definitely a nice piece, and convenient with the rack mounts to be able to slide it around to fit if needed. I got mine and the ujoint from JPC

What have you done to your mustang today?

Got the MPR engine and the trans in. Found out the racecraft K-member and steering rack run the pinion shaft and ujoint right under the stock oil filter so I'll have to find an adapter for a remote filter. And finally got to take a look at my stock crank sprocket. I got ridiculously lucky...

    1500hp 2005 mustang?

I'm not even going to reach 1500hp and I've got close to 15k in just my engine. And that price doesn't include the block, heads, and crank I already had. Then start looking at the rest of the needs: Fuel system - 1500+ Injectors - 1500 Power adder - 8000+ EFI with sensors (probably not stock...

Play time is over you M'Fers.

How goes the build? Just booked my flight for SCSN, after wanting to go for so many years it is actually going to happen this time. Would be cool to see the car out there.

    abs delete

I removed it on mine, I went with a manual MC as well and new lines. The abs pump is pretty heavy and takes up a good amount of space. This dood sells delete blocks for the older models but I don't think he has one out yet for the new models...

    Broken block? Check this out

Escobar got a mid sleeved block like that a while back, not sure if that is currently what is in his car right now though. Will be cool to see how the MIDS work out, and if they expose the next week point, and what that may be. Seems the import guys have been running these for awhile, might...

    Broken block? Check this out

They have the flange on the top. It looks like that is what most are using now

    Broken block? Check this out

I would guess mine was in the 1100ish range at the tire, maybe a bit more and it looked good on tear down. Going to hope for around 1300ish at the tire this go round, using the same regular dry sleeves (not the tophat ones) in my stock 2012 block.

    Powerglide crossmember mount

I have a very light chromoly crossmember for bolting a powerglide into an S197. The thing weighs around a pound or so. I was running this on my car for the past 2 years or so, I no longer need it with my new chassis. It is bare currently, could use a scuff up and some paint. $175 shipped...

What have you done to your mustang today?

First time off the jackstands with the new racecraft front end and first time out in the sun in quite a few months: And my pieces from RaceWire Solutions are moving along to help me rewire the whole car front to back. The board is done, the switch panel and wire bundles to string out to...

    altitude and compression/pressure

Exact same thinking I went down and why I moved to the whipple 2.9 which I think was a big ol waste of money/time. In the end it was just trying to spin a bigger blower on the same 6 rib belt which didn't help. The TVS is almost as good in my eyes, even being smaller. I think if you are...

    altitude and compression/pressure

I found a slip from back then, it was 69mm pulley, OR-H, and on 265 MT's on stock wheels. Everything else stock. I'd think tuning on these setups has improved since then so could probably expect to be quicker these days. Dragtimes says DA was around 7230' at the time:

    altitude and compression/pressure

Not sure what the DA was, that was back in 2011 before I paid too much attention to things like that. It was in September though so wouldn't have been the worst we've seen I'm sure.

    altitude and compression/pressure

Sharing my data from the dyno if this helps give an idea of what each pulley was doing. These are PSIG so they are relative to ambient pressure so the 2.5 down gig should be taken into account on these numbers: EngSpd 75m 69mm 4000 9.2 11 4100 8.9 10.9 4200 8.7...

    altitude and compression/pressure

Elevation is a cruel bitch. 7500' DA is stupid for sure. The 72mm may not be a bad plan. I ran the 69mm pulley on my tvs back in 2012 and with some 104 octane in the tank, and I think I was around 3800ish race weight my car ran an 11.2 or so. How sad is that. I think it did 60' in the 1.7...
