No it worked great. I put a pioneer deck in after my wife got a car with bluetooth and GPS. It works great for streaming local songs or pandora. that is mostly what I used it for. I sold the car and set it back to mostly stock so I have alot of stuff to sell.

Mine started doing that last winter and I got up under the dash and pressed to get a better idea where the squeak was coming from. I sprayed some white lithium grease on the bushing that was squeaking and it hasn't made a noise since.
