if you can find a cable that has iphone5 end and db-9 or 15, which ever that is, on the other end,,,, yes then it will work

I have not seen many devices that support iPhone 5 directly. Most require an adapter like these. I have one of each that I use in other cars. The second one works better for me because i don't have to remove the case to plug it in...

No it worked great. I put a pioneer deck in after my wife got a car with bluetooth and GPS. It works great for streaming local songs or pandora. that is mostly what I used it for. I sold the car and set it back to mostly stock so I have alot of stuff to sell.
