    Photo Shoot

Agreed, edited photographer shots look under exposed as well as over sharpened with some grain coming through. Could have been looking for a moodier result, but the highlights got covered up, and the cars highlights make automotive photography pop.

    Strut braces clearing procharger?

It was tight, but not terrible. There was no rubbing at the brace and filter, as I rotated the intake tube closer to the cam cover to accomodate. Is the brace worth the money - subjective question. So I'll explain a bit. When you first install the brace, normal daily driving really doesn't...

    Strut braces clearing procharger?

Cliff is right, although mine read a tad warm as it was pretty warm the day I was logging - 120 on the line. I'll see if I still have them, lost my hard drive last year and learned the hard way that it's a world where backing up data is a must. I had track datalogs of it in prochargers location...

    Strut braces clearing procharger?

Nothing that using your brain won't cure. I did this when the stock k member was on the car as well, and after I did the BMR add, there was much more room for routing everything. All I can say is take your time, keep an open mind as you plan your route.. Without being there, I can't really give...

    Strut braces clearing procharger?

Cervinis hood with no blanket. I fabbed the air intake. I should have just posted those pics as well as it usually causes a stir. Here's a few pics of it as I pieced things together and worked through the project: New location allowed for a larger filter over the pewny turd...

February 2010 Car Of The Month: HeavyGT

Zman, I think he wanted the actual RWHP, not what did RWHP mean as an acronym.. Heavy's car is a few ticks shy of 500 - I'll let him post actuals if he wants. Glenn, thanks for peddling me man, appreciated as always. Benvaldi, I'm in South Elgin and as Glenn mentioned I take on side...

    Strut braces clearing procharger?

BMR's went across mine fine, 1/2" to 3/4" clearance. It was originally hammertone, powdered for some pop: Worth mentioning is that picture was before doing a BMR K-member, when I did the "K" I lost some clearance as I did not get the K that lowered the motor. Hard launches netted enough...

    Engine Bay cleaning

Here you go fellas - best price I found. Seems the product is not as readily available in some regions - buy a couple and store if that's the case. Vouch for it all day long. No clinging dirt issues after applying: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BOB1V2

    Engine Bay cleaning

Definately don't use anything other than the F21 foam. Everythnig else is a dirt magnet. I'll see if I can find you guys an online vendor to order from.. Do not wrap your alternator with aluminum foil, touching it down will conduct electricity and could possibly be a quick way to a big...

newbie:4th gear burnout fresh out the shop enjoy

It's not- which was kind of my point. Matter of fact, there's no load on the drive line when the wheels a spinning free. Keep your revs relatively conservative and it's no different than making a highway pass. Most of us do that every day. Couldn't imagine sinking the money I have into mine...

newbie:4th gear burnout fresh out the shop enjoy

Cause he can, maybe blowing off steam, felt like it, wanted to kill off a set of tires that were end of life, it's a good time, plenty of reasons - does it really matter? This ones for you Tar- before the why comes, I was testing the wiring to my replacement line lock solenoids, yeah that's...

    Couple shots at sunset

Caught some great dusk lighting for these: We painted the wall with 2 handheld flashes on this under a long 20 second shutter. Little more practice and this will be a sweet way to photograph a car.

    Engine Bay cleaning

Nice work - glad the write up is still paying off for people. For those that don't know - the F21 tire foam is used because it simply doesn't attract dust like any of the other dressing products. It also doesn't leave a greasy sheen film on top of the plastic parts. It leaves the blacks a...

    Engine Bay cleaning

I have a write up held to a sticky I have had running on modded for quite some time that I can pull over. I do the stang (not a daily) spring and fall and just keep up with it inbetween. I literally just went through doing my daily driver to prove a point to some skeptics and these were the...

    Dressed up Modular engine?

Not so hard to do if you keep up with it after you do the initial clean. Spend about 15 to 20 minutes under there each week and it's about that easy.
