any use a RAM clutch without a shim ? Either they sent me the wrong pressure plate or it needs a shim - I ruined 2 slave clylinders since it wont make contact with the pressure plate fingers....:(

I'm clutch shopping again and have been through two spec stage 2+ clutch disc. I think the spec pressure plate is made wrong since it doesn't make proper contact with disc on that side due to wear pattern. I need some evidence one way or the other.
