    just got some bodywork done, and I am in the middle of an oil change, I noticed this thing here isn't bolt down, has a little spring covered in rubber it feels like? Here's a pic, what is this / where does it go?

    Pics show the issue... it's an oem replacement I just got after being in a wreck, any way to fix it?? Fits perfectly everywhere else just these corners are stuck out a bit... is it fubar or can it be fixed? I'm taking it back in to the bodyshop either way just wondering if I could fix it myself...

    I did lt's in my garage in about 5 hours, with a lunch break in there too, and it was easy, especially with an extra set of hands to help aligns the headers and pull studs out quickly.
