Hey boys! Finally installed the gray Coverlay inserts and added some red piping. Matches my exterior racing stripes on my black Mustang now. Looks way better than the way it was.

I just ordered a set today in slate gray so once I receive and install them I'll take pics and give you my thoughts. I might also do some welting in red to finish the look off.

Ya that’s weird since it essentially what I have. 100% these MBRP’s are a deeper lower tone as compared to the GTA’s I had....specially on cold starts. American Muscle had them rated a 3 out of 5 in the loudness scale which is why I decided on them. These are the MBRP Pro series Axle-Backs...

Ya I had them with headers and a Bassani hi-flow X-Pipe and found them loud. The MBRP’s I find just right. My neighbors are probably happier now as well. Lol

I think these might be Ford Racing GTA’s after more searching.

I meant by it appearing wider more aggressive as the wheel would be coming out closer to the fender with the 1" spacer. That is generally why people do this but my offset won't really work.

Just wanted a more aggressive look. Thought by adding the 1" space it would give my 9" wheel a wider 10" look. But I see with the offset and all I might run into issues so I'll leave it as is. Possibly get fatter rims and tires in the future back there.

Just read this after I replied to someone else. Thanks for that. I guess I'm staying as is with the possibility of going to 20x10's in the back in the future.

My Shelby wheel offset is +30 and the spacers I was looking at are 1" (25mm). This might be too much?
