Hey guys, jumping in here. Not ready for a new one in my 2010 GT yet (112k miles and feels good), but starting to think about the stage 1 also (mild bolts ons). What are thoughts on replacing flywheel with one matched to clutch, vs resurfacing? TIA

One thing I did after my first passenger floorboard flood, was punch out the rubber grommet to make the drain hole larger, thereby less likely to clog with debris. Haven't had any issues since, been about 5-6 years

My Kona blue with stock 18's in original silver, then a slightly bronze dark gray, then switch to Saleen Heritage 19's in gray with silver lip. Might eventually get the Heritage powdercoated bronze.

Making the switch from stock suspension to FRPP P springs and Koni orange all around made a huge difference in ride quality and performance. Suspension clunk on full rebound disappeared, and ride comfort on turrible New Orleans streets improved dramatically due to progressive rate springs...

My blend door click was lower pitched, but similar. That almost sounds like its coming from the stereo. Does changing HVAC or stereo settings change things?

I went with FRPP progressive rate springs (1.5" drop front and rear) and Koni orange all around. Dramatically improved ride from stock, including killing a harsh clunk I had at full rebound in front suspension. Got the entire setup for less than $500. Installed myself in an afternoon. Here...

I know yours is an '09, but check out this wheel/tire thread (below) for ideas. Great info on fitment, rubbing, performance, balance, etc. as well as tons of photos. But be prepared, it might take you a few days to get through the entire thing. But its fun! I almost went down the rabbit hole...

I have the Koni orange with FRPP Ps, love it. Smoother ride than stock and firms up nicely in the corners

I got about 60K miles out of my first set of Koni orange, on second set (no charge from Koni) now, with about 30K on them. FRPP P springs, FR control arms and GT500 strut mounts. Obviously the P's wouldn't work for the track, but for the street I love the ride, much better than stock and firms...

Not to complicate things, but I switched from the Hurst to the Barton in my 2010 GT, and apart from a much better fit in the 2010 (the tunnel opening is farther back and the Barton is adjustable for this, you flip it around) the Barton is also much firmer, with a shorter stick (altho the Hurst's...
