Yes I originally only replaced one side, the bank 2. P430 code was the only one popping up at the time so try replacing it with an OEM?

So even though bank 1 is still the original CaT, the new aftermarket cat on bank 2 will trip a code for both?

So after a week of not coming on, the engine light came on. Scanned it and p0420 & 430 came back. I attached a picture of what the scan tool said. What does that mean? Is this something I’ll probably have to take into the dealership to diagnose?

Ok so here’s an update. Last Friday I replaced the pcv and tightened the loose bolts on the valve covers and checking the hoses from the Intake tube, drove the car all week with no codes popping. Saturday afternoon the light comes on and it’s P014A. this car is driving me crazy.

the only problem is they cost so dang much lol. Might be easier to turn off lol

I can do that but I was thinking, would clog filters cause a misfire code? the only thing about checking the datalogs is I’m not sure what to look for.

I can’t say 100% but I’ve double checked the exhaust clamps. The only thing I didn’t change out was the gasket between the cat and exhaust manifold.

It hasn’t been for at least 2 yrs. It had a bama tune at one time but then I returned it to stock. I used to always run 93oct but when gas prices got crazy I started using 87. Now I’m back to 93.

Recently my 2011 mustang Gt has been tripping the P0430 code. I first checked for leaks. I replaced the exhaust clamps since they were loose regardless of how tight I torqued them. No luck, code came back. I then replaced the downstream O2 sensor on bank 2 thinking it would solve the issue...

Thanks everyone for their suggestions. I tried soaking it with PB blaster, impact, chisel, Dremel but the grinder worked

I tried using a Dremel but it seemed to be going no where.

Update: When in doubt, just grind it out. Worked like a charm.

A buddy recommended a grinder or a chisel on the nut. I may give that a try and see what how it goes.

I tired that. The nut kept spinning. I’ve never had this happen. It’s weird.

Not sure if a a sawzall will fit but I think that may be the way I have to go. Regardless of which part you hold, the other just spins....unless the nut can be cracked open
