    Lost my right side speakers

Update! Had the radio out & trim by the junction box out. My goal was to use the voltmeter to check each wire for continuity. After looking at the plugs and my voltmeter, it wasn't gonna happen. You need some tiny probes to get to some of those! I needed more wiring detail/info as well...

    Lost my right side speakers

Checked the resistance on both rear speakers - it's 4 ohms for both. On the factory amp, is that separate from the head unit? I was under the impression there wasn't a separate amp for the non-subwoofer speakers.

    Lost my right side speakers

This happened over the course of a year or so. Originally my right front speaker started to cut out. I thought it was my aftermarket radio going bad, so I put the original back in. The radio came with a plug in harness so the stock wiring was unmodified. Anyway, I put the stock shaker 500...

    Help, very stumped.

Sounds like the O2s aren't getting voltage, is the heater bit isn't working. If the evap canister isn't working as well, something else is wrong, like a wiring harness is fubar somewhere...

Ok, someone explain this to me (MPG)

The GPS indicated speed averages over several calculations; it isn't just an instant Point A vs B comparison. If you are cruising and hit the brakes, the GPS will take a second to adjust its average. While cruising it is easily accurate to less than 1 mph. At least the two Garmins and an...

Now where's my cutoff wheel...? 2010 GT500 Heat Extractor

Huh? I'm pretty sure it's a manual. What's it matter if he rows his own gears or not?

Volk TE37 on an 06 Mustang

Since we have a solid rear axle, no camber change to 'tuck' the wheel in. Although on a road bump on one side only the wheel will tuck. We are worried about bumps that hit both wheels. Bolt both wheels onto the rear, and check *both* sides. With a stock panhard bar, just looking at one side...

    Upper Dash Squeaks. Removal?

I'll bet it's molded as part of the superstructure of the dash, and might not come off individually. However, These two pdfs show removing the passenger side airbag, and the instrument cluster, which should allow access to where you need...

    Looking for sharper turning response

I think the BMR arms would be better; lighter and the bushing is probably stiffer than the stock bushing with the black insert. I think whiteline has a complete rear busing replacement out now as well.

    Chassis stiffening...

I'd say Steeda subframe bits, and maybe the braces from the convertible. I don't see the rear shock tower brace as helping much.

    steeda shifter bushings

I have the bushings as well and like them. Cleaned up the rubbery feel of the stock shifter.

    Worsening gas mileage

All the Sunoco around here is 10% ethanol, 87, 89, 93 & 94. Looks like it varies with region!

    Worsening gas mileage

I didn't buy it to drink my wallet dry either!! Things to check: 1. tire pressure - make sure it's at least 32 psi. yes it will noticeably affect your mileage. 2. reflash - my car learned some odd behavior at one point. reflashing my tune fixed it. you may have gotten some bad gas at some...

TERRIBLE Dyno Numbers...What Could Cause This?

It looks like about 4600 rpm there is a big drop in ignition timing that stays until about 5500, although it doesn't look like it really gets back to normal. that area should be a lot higher; one shouldn't be making peak horsepower at redline. Does your canned tune have any changes for the...

    toe in rear end

The axles tubes have a little bit of variation when getting installed; they basically shove/slam those suckers into the pumpkin, although they do it very carefully. :) If you drag race a lot and put a lot of load on the axle, there's a reason why drag racers weld the tubes and put bracing on...

    Weird sound...?

It isn't a durability issue, just a noise issue. If the car was stock you could get it fixed at the dealership under a TSB. I've got it as well. When was the car made? Supposedly it was fixed Novemberish of 2006 (2007 MY) edit: nevermind, it's an '05. Cam chatter is a possibility, if you...

can someone post the in car guide for removing te camshafts please

On a side note, that shows why these don't make power in a before/after straight test. They show a huge difference in the recommended variable cam timing for the new cams. They *really* need to be tuned, and not just ignition timing.

    Weird sound...?

can you rev the engine to ~1000 rpm and hear it? Then it is cam chatter most likely. Above 25 mph there is generally enough other noise to drown it out.

    Sway bar links?

There shouldn't be a 'loose' sound whether they are adjusted right or not. Sounds like maybe something else in the suspension is having issues.

    Better handling on the CHEAP?

I'd say dampers are the biggest thing. If you are looking for cheap things, camber bolts & alignment come first. Drilling new endlink holes in the front swaybar further forward is an easy upgrade; it will raise grip a bit, but will understeer a bit more at the limit. Shop for used GT500...

    tired of being slow

The diameter of the *tire* changes effective ratio; the wheel diameter doesn't. :thumb: If you look at the inertia change of less weight on a wheel or tire, individually it comes out to ~1.5x more important. If you consider the weight change at one wheel, remember it occurs at all four, so one...

FYI - Our stock brakes are sh*t

Pretty much every street car is going to have that experience. I'm guessing in Texas cooling ducts would be fairly important as well for track days.

What do think these sparks are from

The only other thing I can think of is maybe the swaybar is hitting on the drag wheels on the inside. Check the sway for any scratches.

How do I improve the Stock Brakes?

You are talking drag strip track, correct? Quoted for truth! Pads are number one, fluid are number two. Stainless lines are down there with ducts; I'd actually put air ducts higher. Hysteria, you are talking basically about one stop events, not repeated heavy braking like on a road course...
