    I tried something that maybe I shouldn’t have but I through the battery disconnect to the off position while car was running. It has a new high amp battery disconnect and engine kept running.I assume it should have shut down.

    Thank you for the reply. I felt cleaning a spot on the chassis next to battery box would be ok for a ground instead of running a ground to front of car does that sound ok.

    Installed battery relocation kit in trunk. Ran power cable to firewall and a junction block. The ground side i cleaned of an area on chassi next to battery installed a cable from chassi to disconnect then disconnect to ground terminal on battery.
