there was a TSB a few years back about the airbags.if you have the originals still in the car you might still be able to get them changed at the dealer for free.

I bought those hoodpins and then found the exact same pins on ebay(same type of materials,steel and aluminum) for half the price and had my body shop put them in.they were easy to find under "hoodpins".I figured it would cost the same to install them so,why pay more than you have to.hope this...

thanks much everyone,fdjizm,yes that is the one I was looking at,the only problem is that STB won't fit under a stock hood.travelers,I would snatch yours up but,it too won't fit under a stock hood.I guess I will have to make do without one or get a new hood.

I have been using one of these for the past 3 yrs. on my '07 Shelby GT without a problem.looks like the price is the same if you go to the site and scroll down a bit. good luck.
