I'm still in shock by the OP. They hated their cobra so much they pretty much gave it away for a very slow wrexked Mustang. I owned an 05 GT with cams, LTs, O/R H-pipe, CAI, and 4.10s. In the end it was loud and still slow. Traded it in for an 11 in 2012 which was faster in everyway bone stock.

It definitely will be. Mine plan is to buy a dead 1st gen S197, swap in a built FI 4.6L 3V with a 6r80.

More robust. Can handle lowering springs and firmer shocks. Stock units will start making noise very shortly after a mustang is lowered.

I should also add these are the only brackets I've had that fit without issue. I've tried BMR Fabrication brackets and they skewed my rear axle. These ford units kept my axle aligned.
