Kimmer, I would not expect the noise to go away with the 8 rib. The loud squeak noise is exactly what I was trying to resolve and I had the noise with the 8 rib as well. The noise always went away when the car was hot. Let me know if you figure anything out. Sam

Will a stock 5 speed manual bolt up to a GT 500 5.4. I know the GT 500 has a 26 spline clutch as oppsed to a 10. I believe you can have a 26 spline put in the 5 speed. Is the 5.4 any longer than the 4.6 so it effects where the trans sits on the cross member? I don't know if the back of the...

I hear ya!! Hang in there we will figure this out. You are now the third 07, that I know of, to have a belt issue. At some point, Whipple will quit telling us they do not have a belt issue. Send the pics tomorrow amd I'll see if I can do anything for you. Sam

The one on the air tube came off. I put it back on with black RTV and it has not come loose. If the ones on the blower come off I guess I'll do the same.

What year is your car? HO kit or not? Post pics of your belt routing and dust. I have lost a few belts but don't have the dust issues others have had. Look at Kimmers post and describe if your belt dust is as much his. Sam
