05-09 Carbon Fiber Dash

Hey stangheads does anyone know where I can find a carbon fiber dash kit for my 07GT that doesn't cost an arm or leg ? I've looked at the overlays and they just don't look great.

Wrap it with 3M 1080 vinyl in carbon. Used it in my old E92 and looked very good. I used 3M brushed metal for the mustang because a metal dash was more historically correct imo.

Looks wonderful you did a great job. Yeah I tried the 3M vinyl and I suck at that.

YES but I had trouble cutting the vinyl around the vents the holes came out all wonky and ill fitting. It looked like shit so I ripped it all off and began searhing for a better way.

The 3M vinyl doesn't look good, in my opinion, because it's too "flat." It lacks the depth of real carbon.

I went with these guys for my '11, and paid for the real carbon fiber. It's an overlay, but it looks amazing:

I just wanted to give everyone an update and let you known I found and OEM Carbon Fiber Dash panels. I installed them yesterday and I must say they look Awesome !
