Do the rear of the GT's have the same brakes and swaybar setup as the v6's? I tried searching but none of the terms I entered would give me what I was looking for.

Reason I'm asking is I am taking the car to the track tomorrow to see what it runs before I start bolting on the mods and I'd like a set of drag radials. I can get a set of 255/50/16 bfg radials on 16's that came off a v6. The info on the wheels is:

Offset: 40mm
Backspacing: 5.59"
Bolt Pattern: 5-114
Weight: 19.0lbs.

Thanks for the help

Josh from PMP had some stock OEM 16s on his GT so I believe they will fit

most guys have not tried them for drag use as they want a wider wheel/tire

Thanks guys.

I said screw it and ordered some 275/35/18's and an extra set of 18" wheels from tirerack. I have to pick them up this afternoon.

I got some 16's for free so I've thought about widening them

i use the stock V6 rims w/ mt et streets 26x10.5 @ 15psi. w/ cai, tune, lca's, and lowered i consistently cut 1.81-1.83 60' times. occasionally i've gotten a 1.79. this is with the stock 3.55 gears.
