So this light installed, would you say it's economical at all or just for show? Does it actually provide much light? It looks like it'd be more for show

The leds will give you a lot more light. They don't get as hot as the stock bulbs, they use less voltage. My wife left her dome lights on the other day all night and the next morning the car started up with no problem.

I'll up load a video later tonight and you'll still see the light through my tinted windows.

Plus, if you did order the leds and don't like them, send them back for a full refund and I will cover the shipping too. I stand behind my products.

Ya I can tell that the white LEDs are bright I was referring to the red ones. I should've been more clear I reckon,but in tge pic they don't seem to provide nearly as much light as the white leds

Do u have anything for the reverse back up lights? i bought LED lights from RECON but they did not work in the reverse housing. Did work manually on a battery. SO let me know

Been pretty busy lately, I just got to check out the video and really appreciate the effort you put into this stuff. But in the video it looks like there's hardly any light given off, can barely see the panels and knobs and whatnot. Is this just the camera not picking up the red?

Yeah, the video camera just didn't pick up the light very good. Like I said it looks better in person.

Do yours stay slightly lit even when the dome light is turned off? Mine have always had that issue and it seems a section or two of the lights is starting to go out.

The ones I have with the resistors will not glow. Some cars have this problem and some don't. My car doesn't have the problem and it's a 2005 GT.
My wife 2004 Ford Escape has that problem and I upgraded her dome lights with the ones with the resistors and no glow and shes happy I finally changed the bulbs out. Here's a picture of her dome lights on and then turned off and you can see the glow before I changed out her bulbs.

Anyone that orders the dome lights will get the ones with the resistors. That way you don't have to worry about them glowing.
