It made like 500 hp 530 tq it was hot out too it ran 11.00 wit a 1.7 60 foot (thats sprayin at 3000 rpm) but I changed the nitrous pill left the fuel alone
stalled up to 1800 and hit the juice off the line it went 10.40 1.51 60 foot all i have on the car is cai off road x pipe 355 gear and tires not bad for a stock car...

The 5.0 is 4951cc, and the 4.6 is 4601cc, so its actually a difference of 350cc.

Well, since you're so nice about it, I'll spell it out for you.

Liter = 1,000cc

So, 5.0L - 4.6L = .4L or 400cc

I'm doing math based on the statement of 5.0L vs 4.6L of course, the above statement is more accurate taking into consideration the actual cubic centimeters of each engine instead of the rounded numbers we more familiarly use ie. 5.0 or 4.6

You are interchanging liters and cubic centimeters, which are exactly 1,000 times different.

My wife says it is. She thought it was silver for two weeks since she only saw it at night. Now, its just pee, like you stepped on a pea, green. She loves driving it tough! My point is, the 4.6 to 5.0 is really meaningless since most hard-core guys would pull the motor anyways, and the quest for more HP will be present regardless if Ford put a FI 427 in these cars. There are plenty of stroked 4.6's running around at 5.0 litres at much less expense than a "new" Stang. The new body style lookis like shit, imo. The 5.0 motor is impressive, but still presents the same shit that car guys have had to deal with since the introduction of the factory motor. Peace out!

Man it amazes me how ignorant people are i have and own the car i also have a 5.0 block that i will built to make it a nitrous car the block was 1300.00. Wow alot of money if i wanna see what the motor can hold thats what I wanna do i know someone spray 250 on a progessive control with a plate kit, im race in Detroit 1000 dollar races 2500 dollar races if im winning is it really a lost if I blow my motor if I made 20,000 off the 3000 dollar set up. People buy cars for their on purpose I got mine to beat the shit out of it and win money it has no other purpose hey but thats me. Does 4v heads and the cam setup or compression make a difference? Just wondering since its the same car.
