Which would you choose for a dedicated track wheel/tire set, and why?

Assume the nt01 on a 9.5 and rival on a 10.5.

Rivals...for longer life. You'd probably pick up maybe a second or more with the nt01's, but is it worth the money?

And put the rivals on 18x11's...

Yep 18x11 is ideal but......Note that on 18x11 you can no longer swap wheels front to rear as the offset for the wheels has to be different. The right offset 10.5 can be same and swapped front to rear. Vorschlag has the 18x11 offset figured out.
Regarding noise. With my NT01's I began using ear plugs on the track day trips due to the very loud howl these tires produced. Absurdly obnoxious but they were a terrific track tire for the money. Definitely not a street tire.

10.5's can only be swapped f/r if you don't mind the rears not fitting. 10's are fine though

These 10.5 work but the front require a 5mm spacer. Stranoparts sells them. Enkei Racing PF01 Lightweight 18x10.5 inch wheel kit. I believe they are 38 offset.
Personally I went with the 18x10 Forgestar F14. Light weight, good quality, strong and reasonable price. A 10.5 would have allowed a wider tire but I did not want to fool with a spacer.
