285/40/18 in front?

Hi guys, I'm planning to run in the STU class in autocross. Maximum tire size limit is 285mm wide, and a treadwear rating of 140. I wish to run equal size tires front and rear. Are there any fitment issues with having a 285 wide tire on the front? I plan to lower my car with Steeda Sport springs.

I have 285/40/18s on all four corners but is lowered with the Pro kit. I dont have any fitment issues and its d/d. I wouldnt plan to run the ever day tho due to it following every rut in the road.

I run 285/35-20 on front with 9.5" Steeda wheels. No rub what so ever with 1.3" drop in front.

I too run 285/35/18 all around, lowered about 1.7 front/rear

What kind of tires are you guys using? I am looking for a street tire, as SCCA rules require a tire with treadwear of 140 or higher.

Im using the Nitto NT05 and had great success with it.

18X9.5 /40mm Front and Rear 285/40/18 all the way around. No rubbing at all and with sportline springs
