3.73 or 4.10...help me choose

Went to a TNT friday night(1/8th mile) and felt like the car was really sluggish from the start. My best 60 was 2.1 but was getting 8.20@ 90mph at the trap. I am currently running 3.55 with manual on M/T 275/60/15 drag radial. Car is tuned currently at 480rwhp & 420tq.

What gear would be the best choice here?

Also, car makes no boost at the tree holding revs at 3500rpm. Will a WOT correct this? I would like to leave on 3-5 lbs.

I would say 4.10 for your setup. Manual and the centri combo. Im the opposite of your setup. PD blower, auto trans and 3.73's. Low 1.6 60' 7.01 @ 99.96mph in the 1/8. with your combo it will shine more in the 1/4 mile top end.

What RPM are you launching at? My times/car is set up very close to yours except Im at 12# and the best Ive done is 99.xx at 7.17 Ive got a 3500 stall and launch at idle.

That run was on the stock converter flashing at idle. All the runs behind that were very close. My new converter is going in as we speak and I dont know how the car will react. Its a 3K stall.

I think its my reaction times that are killing me. Sometimes I think Im asleep at the wheel when the green lights up, Ive got to get use to launching on the third yellow, not the green.
