Great looking 63! I would suggest snapping pics that have not had the saturation adjusted digitally... unless my eyes are just screwed up from night shift.

GLWS!

I told my dad they looked over done. I don't think he meant to do that and probably didn't notice.

Love that color.

I drove a guys 63 convertible 2 summers ago. It was a 4 speed and I think it was a 300 hp car. It was ridiculous fast for being 100% stock. No wonder they sold so many and the car has such a performance reputation.

When I was in high school a teacher had a red '63 just like that one. It got trashed every other week because the teacher wasn't very popular. His name was Mr Singleterry but everybody called him Mr Dingleberry.

Car is immaculate.
Would it not do better at auction, like a Barrett-Jackson auction?

I've suggested he take it to an auction and see what happens. I think he just doesn't want to deal with it.

I was lucky enough to drive it once. It was only for a few miles and i drove like a old woman but it was still a blast.

Beautiful car man, someday I tell myself I will own one. Highly unlikely but lying to myself makes me feel better. The split window 63 is easily one of the best cars of all time IMO. GLWS.

A question that I've always wanted to ask, but never had the opportunity - Why only 75 miles since the restoration? Why not drive the thing? I can see being careful - sunny days, avoid gravel roads, etc., but to not drive it at all seems sad.

I've told him many times he should drive it more often. He's giving me a few reasons why he doesn't drive it but i forget what they were. That 75 miles has only been from driving to a few car shows. For the most part it was trailered to shows in a inclosed trailer.

Were the ebay bids too low? The auction is closed now. What should a car like this sell for?

My uncle has 1963 also! I love it. He found his in a fallen down barn around 6 years ago and it's almost all original still! I'm surprised this hasn't sold yet honestly.

^^ Glad he rescued it! I know he has had some interest in it but no one has come through yet.
