Hey guys, about 3 years I embarked on going forced induction. I had perfectly working A/C. I installed the setup, A/C compressor was just unbolted from the block and reattached. I didn't have to disconnect any lines. My A/C no longer works, the compressor doesn't even click on/off, what's a good diagnostic flow process for this? I have checked the fuse under the hood and the relay and they are both okay. According to my log, A/C pressure sensor reads 46psi with A/C off and as soon as I turn it on, it goes to 90-100psi. No action from the compressor though. Thanks.

diambo4life,

Disclaimer: not a very good diagnostician.

There are shop manuals (2011) where you can find Climate Control diagnostics in the Electrical sub-section. The link to the manuals is here: See post #20 in this thread.

The compressor plug may not be seated, the compressor clutch may be toast, the compressor may have some internal failure.... IOW, something may have happened or failed at the time stuff was moved around - you didn't break it, it just went kaput.

Chris

Hey...thanks man. I will find some time and troubleshoot using the info you provided. I am just hoping it's a bad connection because I really didn't tweak anything in that area.

I would also recheck the entire harness under the hood. Make sure you didn't pinch something or didn't seat an electrical plug.
