Aftermarket Head Unit w/ iPod Hookup?

This isn't for me. A guy I know has asked me to look around for a head unit that has a built-in hookup for his iPod. I believe he has the Shaker 500. Does anyone know of any?

Pretty much any aftermarket deck with an aux. input can be used. My 07 has it built into the console, but you have to open the console to operate it. If you go to crutchfield.com, there are a ton of head units that will hook up to the ipod and control it from the deck. Ipod has become the new standard for head units....hard to find one that doesn't control an ipod.

Best buy has the Peripheral electronics unit. PEI iSimple I believe.

I installed it to my shaker 500 with no problems and it works great.

Works great and easy to install. Just have to buy the extra cord for the i-pod.
