Annual Toys for Tots Car show and Meet November 14th, 2010

The annual Toys for Tots car show and meet is happening again this year. Its on November 14th, 2010 at 11 AM. The location has moved from King of Prussia, PA to Montgomeryville/North Wales PA. Last year we filled up a troop carrier with donated toys. Lets see if we can do more this year.

Toys for Tots began in 1947 and has been collecting toys for needy children to give to them at Christmas. It has been a nationwide program since 1948. Their mission is “bring the joy of Christmas to America’s needy children."

Its less than a week away. On another forum, there were 65 people that said they were attending and 64 people that said maybe. It looks like this is going to be a big event this year.

Just a reminder, no pre registration is required. All they ask is you donate a new, unwrapped toy. I don't think they take stuffed animals any more, but just about anything else is fine.
