Holywd is no longer a mod due to this and is currently restricted from the classifieds until he takes care of this issue.

Hey Sam, how the heck are ya? This is Oren. Lol. I think i got a mess started up here but hopefully everything will get cleared up with him(Holywd)
Whats going on man? I wouldn't worry to much about getting things stirred up, this has been a building issue that needed to be addressed. I just didn't realize how bad it had gotten.

Bruce... Im sorry to here you got dicked on such a big purchase by Caleb. Hope you made your money back.

That's the whole problem, iTrader not being used properly. We really need to use it the right way. Leave feedback afterthe item is received, inspected and make sure if in working condition. And if there is "mistakes" leave that in the feedback also. This will be the only way to make things better.
Completely agree man. I see now that "benefit of doubt" is not something that should come into play with itrader. I hope people learn from mine and a few others good intended mistakes.

Just curious, but why don't all the people that had bad encounters with buying parts from HOLYWD just go back and edit there itrader?
I am going to look into that, Thank you.

I wasn't aware I could edit my ITrader ratings. If it were possible I might have one I would probably edit.

I bought a set of borla stingers from Caleb and when I got them the right 1 looked like some scholar didnt tighten the clamp good enough & it fell the hell off going down the road. I left a good itrader, not sure why now. The right tip and can was scuffed and ground down but it doesnt leak. I got tired of the loudness & put them up for sale, sold them locally to a good buddy then got them back(he wasnt happy w/ them & i missed the sound). I still have them but the ground down tip does bother me sometimes. He didnt say anywhere in his sell thread that someone let them fall the hell off the car and messed up the whole right muffler

He also pulled the whole paypal fee on me. After i agree he added in fees. I will go back and edit my f' up on his itrader.

No, I cannot. You as a mod may be able to do that but I cannot. All I can do is post an additional comment/reply or report a bad rating.

Just to say as I'm sort of new I lurk more than I post here,(mostly classifieds) I've never bought from holywd, but I've bought a couple things here from other members and plan on buying more. I have always looked at and used the itrader as reference as well as coming here to look for the names of anyone I might consider buying from or making an offer to. So , I know we have to build up itrader ratings (meaning number of feedback.) so I take that into consideration with low numbers, as I hope to sell some stuff in the near future off of my car. However my point being, I'm glad to see it being brought up to use itrader correctly. As someone that doesn't know all of you and all the other newer members like myself, thats all we have to go on when we blindly send money out.

I used the iTrader in the wrong manner I guess...My story is I bought my items when I was doing my build. My car was down for approx 6 months. I left the itraded based on the condition of the items. I really didn't think there was going to be a problem. But once I completed the build, I noticed the items that were defective. I have PM'd a mod to get my iTrader changed.

Well news to me on this subject as of this morning. I found out that the borla stingers he sold to me that were "in good shape & sound awesome" he bought from a fellow member for $200 then turned around & sold them to me for $280 plus shipping then after i agreed to buy them he tried to throw the paypal fee at me(dick move to charge fee in the 1st place on any1's behalf, your selling it...you cover it, if not then why are you bothering selling something). So i have $325 in a set of mufflers that fell the hell off a car that were "good" that he only paid $200 for. Dallas isnt that far, lil wana be swole up looking prick needs to be drug across the blacktop and have a good ole fashion mudhole stomped in his ass.

Itrader didnt do any good in his case b/c he had alot of people blinded by his mod status & seemed like an ok kid at 1st. Sorry for my itrader fail on my part & now getting riled up in my post.

And THIS is why i refused to buy from the classifieds for 8 or so years on forums until i finally gave in when I joined this 1. B/w this and me getting dicked over by Chris last winter on his delete plate scam i will be buying my parts brand new from now on. I'd rather buy something full price and know its nice then buying from the classifieds

This actually violates Paypal's Terms of Use, if anyone cares.

Has anyone brought it up with Paypal? The scam thing? I've used it about 3-4 times in the last 3-4 years of buying stuff online and Paypal is very sympathetic to the buyer in most cases.
