Called PayPal back today. Within 8 minutes they got the total funds ($550) back into my account.

They see he hasn't contacted him and all his bank did was retract the money. They saw my shipping info and stuff and everything was there he made the purchase and had it shipped to him. He will have to pay for the amount back to PayPal, they told me, and it's not like he got away free and clear.

Yeah, Paypal made it easy. They were understanding and looked at my track record.

Unfortunately because of this I will have to carefully screen my buyers before selling to them so this doesn't happen again.

This forum is really dedicated on reputation and I hate to restrict my sales to certain parties, but I can't have this happen again.

That's what people like me are probably afraid of I would imagine. Don't post much really as I'm more of a reader/learner from these forums so my post count or longevity wouldn't help. I also don't buy too much from online sellers on forums. Sucks that these dbags screw it up for everyone else also.

I'm right there with you. I'm trying to build up my count and iTrader as well. The damn search function works too good though. So, here I sit, waiting to post...

I remember back in '97, when I was part of the Explorer Forum...easy to get counts up then, since the Exploders were such horrendous piles of shit. Every time you thought all issues were handled, another one was posted. I've said it before, but there was probably one thread dedicated to members' rides, and 27 others that were dedicated to keeping it running.

BMR Backorders....

BMR - They don't feel that it's neccesary to notify you that something is on back order. You just wait for the part to show up. And you wait some more. After a week goes by you call and ask WTF. "Oh, that part is on back order." Why didn't they just tell me that to begin with? I would have bought from somewhere else because It's not like I didn't need it this Friday or anything.

I had this same problem. But was waiting on more than one part. I Didn't order anything out of the ordinary, Adjustable Panhard Rod - Panhard support - Relocation Brackets - Adjustable Upper control arm - Upper control arm mount. I explained to the guy that took the order that I needed the stuff within 2 weeks because I had to make an appointment to put the car in the shop for the install. (I was also having gears installed). It took over 3 weeks to finally get everything... A piece here, and a piece there. I could have gotten everything from American Muscle because they had it all in stock. I just wanted it all in Red... So I ordered from BMR direct.

I apologize to anyone who has had to wait, to receive parts from us. It is definitely not a common experience for my customers. This year has been very hectic for our material suppliers, as our S197 segment has just exploded. Typically, if a part is not shipping shortly after it is ordered, it is due to us waiting on material. If you were not contacted, I do apologize, I know what it is like to wait.....I have modified Mustangs too.

If you have an issue with BMR, please PM me immediately....and I will do everything in my power to resolve the issue.
