Decided to have my friend powder coat some valve covers for me. So I got to it, took them off, cut out some vinyl saying Ford Racing and gave the covers to him.
The powder coat looks almost silver until he lays down clear coat. It's a dormet color, so it's true deepness in color or shine doesn't show until clear coat is applied
After clear is applied and cured. Here's without flash and with flash
He used one of the most expensive powder coating colors on the market. It's a metallic blue with a TON of flakes. The last two pictures shows without flash, and then with flash. I'm going to take some more pictures with the. Out in the sun because its hard to tell over a camera phone with a little flash or even a light on it.
And yes... I wrapped all of my families presents in Justin beiber wrapping paper as you can see in the last picture lol!
