Custom pipe

interested in doing my own set up. I have a friend that has a exhaust shop and can do a whole set up for like $100. I just dont know what size pipe I should run. any input would be nice. oh and should i do a catted x or o/r h. im trying to get a really deep tone, but i want it to be loud as hell

What shop is it? O/R midpipe will be loud but you will have to put up with the hassle of re-installing your stock midpipe for emmissions. Even with an aftermarket midpipe with hi-flows, you will still fail visual but some shops may not even check.
I am assuming he is doing straight pipes for you. If so, I would stick with the stock catted H. O/R H or even a midpipe with hi-flow cats and straight pipes will be loud as hell.
