Ok,I've spoken to the garage and whilst he appreciates where I'm coming from regards the alternator,he thinks I need my ECU reflashed.
Some of the engine codes suggest this and Bruce has previously suggested this.
If you remember this shit all happened after I changed the battery.
This was after I had a couple of jump starts with leads and this may have fucked up the ECU.
In addition my car seems to accept tunes from the Diablo and then after a few miles; rejects them.
I've spoken to someone today local who can reflash my ECU and if that fails can flash a new unit if need be.
The same company can look at the alternator so I think I'm making progress.
Can anyone please point me in the direction of a reliable ECU supplier for an 05 GT Auto?
Likewise can these come preprogrammed using my VIN number or existing ECU number?
Cheers

I'd contact Tousley Ford for the PCM - they should be able to program it for your car.

Brilliant mate,
The alternator is getting removed and tested this Friday, then it's the ECU guy.
If its corrupt then i'll make contact with Tousley.
If anyone can think of anyone else please post (just incase Tousley won't ship).
Thanks again

Alternator has checked out ok.
Don't ask me facts and figures, guy checked tonnes of shit and all is good.

It's now the turn of the ECU/PCM.

I can get it reflashed, however, I reckon I need a new one, preferably preprogrammed.
Any more sources than who was suggested above?

Remember this car was fab until a new battery.
What I've never said is the two or three jump starts she had prior to the new battery.
I think I may have fried something in the ECU and the main symptom was gear box changes.
I have code P01336.
Anyone know if this is terminal?
Make sense?

Edit. Found some sellers on eBay. What's the deal with programming keys ?
