The gears are not used, they have just sat on a shelf for about 4 years.

I'm not familiar with the piece that you are referencing so the short answer is "No". I do however have a gear assembly kit that has all bearings, shims and bolts that I could send with it (can have it) but I wouldn't use the differential cover gasket in the kit because its been on the shelve a LONG time. Maybe the piece you are referencing is part of that kit? Can someone chime in that has personally installed and knows of this piece?
