Well if nothing else at least the next poor sap that buys their product is likely to get a better product as they have taken your suggestions and said that they have corrected this deficiency. Doesn't do too much to help you though.

Some more diplomacy on your part might have worked. Typos and posting the emails before closing out the communications probably hurt your cause.
