Factory Valve Spring Specs / Boss Specs

Anyone know the factory specs.

I know the boss has upgraded ones curious if there are any specs of the 2 side by side

Not sure of those specs, but I know Livernois has some drop-in springs made for them.

Their specs are:

Install Height: 1.575
Max. Valve Spring Lift: .580
Spring Pressure Closed: 70lbs
Spring Pressure Open: 190
Coil Bind: .950

Have you tried contacting Comp Cams? I know they've released their cams/phasers for the 2011-2012 5.0's, but all of them are NSR's. I would imagine that at some point they would have aftermarket springs in the range you are looking for.

Are you still running the stock cams or did you put in some regrinds when you did the heads? Are you still running the stock springs?

i'm running jpc regrinds, shimmed stock springs

Even with stock cams, I would be running some different springs. With all that boost you are making those intake valves are like parachutes to the intake charge.
