+40 is a hair aggressive on the back for a 10" wide wheel but with a 275, I wouldn't expect any rubbing so long as the axle is close to centered. Up front, it should land somewhere between flush and slightly tucked depending on how much camber you're running.
A 275/35-18 is a smaller than stock diameter tire. 275/40 is much closer but still a little short.
