I'll be putting my car back to stock and I have the tunes for life through American Muscle.

My question is, is the stock tune locked in my SCTx2 tuner somewhere? How do I go about flashing the ECM back to stock?

Sorry for the dumb question but I tried to search on the forum and it gave me a FATAL ERROR.....lolol!!!!:helpme:

When you plug in your SCT handheld it will show Return To Stock in the menu. All you do is select that option just like you would do when loading a custome tune.

This is exactly correct.

When you upload the new tunes onto your PCM, the handheld unit saves the stock tune and to return to stock, just choose that option in the options menu. This will then auto-unlock it from your car's PCM and will allow you to tune up to 4 new vehicles.

If you're still having trouble, give our Tuning Specialists a shout. Their phone number and hours is in my signature.

I hope this helps, have a good one!
